MEMBERSHIP OPPORTUNITIES!

Just as our families make our community a success, our members make the St. David Heritage & Cultural Arts Society a success. Your annual membership donation allows us to preserve and share our local histories, promote a wide variety of cultural activities for all ages, and keep our community connected through newsletters and other opportunities.

Over 20 years ago, the St. David Heritage & Cultural Arts Society was formed and partnered with the local school district to save and restore the historic 1938 Elementary Building and its Mary P. Lansing Auditorium. Today, two of the classrooms are in full-time use by students, and the auditorium serves as a valuable venue not only for students, but also for community meetings and events. Today, we continue to partner to complete the rehabilitation, to preserve the yearbooks and other alumni resources, to offer scholarships to graduating seniors, and to develop and support a variety of extracurricular activities, including the new AgriCulture program and a pending literacy and performing arts program.

In keeping with our mission and in support of the historic rehabilitation projects, the St. David Heritage Society has founded three major annual events, including Pioneer Days, Broadway & Beyond, and the 1880s Historical Military Ball; has preserved not only our historical trees but also the personal histories that form the deep roots of our community and the families who call St. David “home.” We are archiving our collection of local histories and historical artifacts and want to share historical information and images on our website. Let us know how you would like to help!
